Continuum is a free, open-source IDE for the agentic era. It runs on your Mac and does three jobs:
  1. Shows live quota and spend for every coding-agent provider you use — session windows, weekly caps, reset timers, and historical $ / token analytics by provider, day, and repo.
  2. Runs and controls coding-agent sessions — Claude Code, Codex, Antigravity/Gemini, Cursor, Grok, and OpenRouter models — in isolated git worktrees, with plan review, diffs, PRs, and terminals.
  3. Follows you off the desk. A paired iPhone and Apple Watch mirror every session live: approve a plan, send a follow-up, star the better answer, or merge a PR from anywhere. End-to-end encrypted.
It is licensed Apache-2.0, costs nothing, and drives each provider through its own official CLI — so the work lands on the flat-rate subscription you already pay for, not a metered API key.

The shape of the thing

Your Mac is the host and the only trust root. It runs the app, a local HTTP/WebSocket daemon, and the provider CLIs as sandboxed child processes. iPhone and Watch are remotes: they hold a pairing token, never your code or provider credentials.

Continuum is local-first. Transcripts, analytics, and keys stay on your machines. The privacy doc enumerates every byte that can leave your Mac — all five categories of it.
